There are conflicting reports over the state of China's burgeoning motor vehicle sector, with a new tax regime under debate after the withdrawal of tax subsidies earlier this year for 1.6L cars and below and while naturally the population is hoping for a reduction in what is already one of the highest levels of duty in the world, the trend has been towards reducing demand by keeping taxes high. Hyundai Verna launched in 2000 in South Korea. It has a refined and powerful engine that gives outstanding performance. Various variants are available of Verna in the market: two petrol variants and three diesel variants. Variable timing valve train technology is used in this car. Verna's engine improves fuel efficiency of the car and saves fuel at low rpms.
