Default Concept tanks

On the basis of bad news always travels better than good news I figured I would throw this up.

I have had dealings with Dave a Denny concept for probably the last 3 years on numerous tanks.

I understand there have been a few instances, I have heard on here by no means do I know the story or what the happenings/ outcome are. But I am just going to post my experience.

I have had them build 6 tanks in total for me in the few years and every tank has been gone through without a glitch.

I found them to be very professional and helpful on every step of the build from planning to delivery to Denny and Dave helping me pack the 360 into the house . My first experience we were pleasantly surprised on the free upgrade of polished edges and low iron glass.

I understand the frustration other users are having, but just wanted to post our experience

The most recent tank I got done was about a year ago.

He has build me 2 display tanks
2 frag tanks
And 2 sumps

Although I've never ordered a Concept tank, I've recommended them to many others over the last couple of years based on the excellent reviews I've heard and read about. I always tell them to look up the reviews.

A few of my tanks from concept

I've only personally ordered 2 tanks from concept and both tank arrived ahead of schedule and they always went above and beyond the quality I was expecting

Aside from the tanks I've ordered for myself I have dealt with concept on a regular basis and all the recipients of the tanks have always been very impressed with their quality and ability to build tanks and ship them out of province within the times we have requested

Well I had some issues with my Concept tank. After a 1 hour phone call with Dave today I'm happy with the outcome. He explained the whole process of how tanks are built and tolerances etc.....He assured me that the issues I have are all esthetic and not at all structural. His solution is an offer I can't refuse and he is really urging me to take it. There was a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication in all of this and happy to say it has been resolved. I also learned a lot in the conversation.

Bill, I'm happy you have found some common ground with Concept, Although I have never had a tank from them all I ever heard was that they are the go to guys for tanks. I've seen a few of them up and running and the quality is very apparent .
