That's exactly what it looks like in my tank as well, I have to put 2-3 disks in at once just to keep them all happy.

They are now brining out small discs for less waste if you have not so many species and also a tropical version

The great thing also with these is that they are not a gimmick, this food is the exact same as the logs made for the public aquariums that has been heavily scrutinised by multiple marine nutritionists to even be allowed in the aquariums, so you are feeding your fish some very beneficial food

Are the "uncut" logs available to the average consumer? A container doesn't last very long for me, I'd totally go for bulk buys of this if I could...

What is different about the tropical version? I would be interested in trying that as well for my FW.. any word yet on when those would become available?

they are about 6" thick.

Yep the fresh water will be available on the next shipment
