Thumbs up Juvenile Crosshatch Trigger.....

Say "Hello" to my little friend. It took me forever to track one down this small. It's approx. 4" in length and eating anything I feed it - frozen, pellets, flake. The tail looks redish (male indicator) while in my hand but is actually more yellow (female indicator) while swimming around. While swimming; there are hints of red that are prevalent along the fringes of the tail. Or...perhaps it's wishful thinking. It also likes to be "pet" while being fed - seriously. It will allow me to stroke its side when I place my hand in the water.

Thank-you very much. I CAN'T wait to purchase fish from you soon. Your fish system and quarantine system is EPIC.

Beautiful fish, I had one back in 09 that was a bit smaller to begin with. Like you said the tail color seemed to change, and for a while I thought it was a female. A bit before I was moving and shutting down my tank (Had my crosshatch for almost 4 years) it actually turned out to be a male and was coloring up nicely. Hopefully yours does the same. It was one of my wife's and my favorite fish, and had great personality.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. My "Grouping" of Triggers is complete (well....unless if I find a "confirmed" Crosshatch male this tiny ). I have my juvenile Crosshatch. I found my Greenei/Kiri, a Hawaiian Blue Throat and a Sargassum.
