nova extreme light?

ok i have gone looking for a new light for my 90 gallon .the lfs told me that once they sell out of nova fixtures they will not order more because of ballist prblem ?i see these lights on sale here all the time and before i buy one want know if anyone else had prblems?the light the lfs said i sould buy was 200$ more then nova
