dose what? If you mean Ca and alk, I think I answered that in the other thread. Do regular water changes. Or dose. Or use 2 part. Or a Ca reactor. You need to keep alk stable in any tank.

Revitalize an old thread -
Here is a great question I have for anyone who could help answer it: I have a large tank 300G I have a great skimmer and dont over feed. I can go 2 months sometimes 2.5 months with no water change required. (in the aspects of keeping low nitrates/ammonia/phosphates) BUT here is what I wonder - I am going that long without water changes so is the calcium/alk/mag in my tank being used up and/or depleted? Does that require me to be dosing to keep proper levels for happy corals since I am not doing a weekly or every 2 weeks changing some of my water and adding newly mixed reef salt to my tank? Thanks in advanced for the information I am not totally new at this but new enough. I have only been in it for 2 years |
