That would be sad, considering all the work that went into it. Esp. considering its one of the best write ups on a featured tank I have seen.

Great monti pics guys. Wholley mackeral those are nice. And some of the photo work on this thread is outstanding.

Favorite today


I am lost as to what this coral is, is not acropora.

It will not cluster, branch or table.....it just forms mounds.
Definatly a unusual piece, possibly Isopora ?

J/K, this one has grown onto my rock and i havent pulled it out to smell latley....


It looks as if Isopora is a subgenus in the acropora family....so i guess still an acropora, just a weird one..lol.

Isopora have a distinct odour ?

SPS is certainly not my strong point, but it looks like it could be some sort of encrusting montipora. Or maybe I'm just on crack

Montiporas tend to have an amusing if slightly precocious bouquet. An Isopora of decent vintage tends to have evokations of blackberry and apples.
