![]() Well cooked rocks levels are down to 4ish ppm ammonia and still over 160 for nitrates and off the chart for nitrites .. Is it worth doing a water change or will that do anything?
Also tested the P04 and wowza will that drop at all ? id rather not put like 3ppm of p04 into my new tank? I think im going to drop a bag of GFO into there beside the powerhead what u think

![]() If it were me I would just do a massive water change or two once the cycle has complete. This will get a lot of the nitrates and phosphates out at the same time. Save the GFO for the tank :-). But running GFO now will do the trick too. Although you'll probably end up exhausting the GFO pretty quick and will end up needing to replace it frequently, at this stage.

![]() Ok thanks that makes sense forgot that at the end if this I'm not using the water so the po4 will be gone, and ill probably start my reactor soon as I get the main going ill run it from the beginning

![]() Skimmer, ato refugium par38 bulb and extra heater came in today pretty jacked, getting the tank in the house this weekend and maybe wet by next week if the rocks have don curing

![]() Rocks are 0ppm everything except nitrates they are still like 10ppm, so im going to throw some LR into the tub to help seed it...
All the equipment is in just waiting on the lights. Getting the tank out of the garage and into the living room today and this puppy should be wet soon maybe next week! ![]() gigity
