Been a long year of staring at an empty tank on the stand so finally started doing some work now that I have free time.

New lights so new FTS The colors I am getting is amazing! Never saw some of the colors in the corals with my old light :P

(It doesn't look that purple in person; don't know why camera picks up the purple+ so much)

How do you guys take a fts of a six foot tank?
I've taken like 50 and they all look brutal.

I just back up until the whole tank is in frame, snap pic and crop out the top and bottom stuff.
However, there are a lot of 6' tank shots better than mine, so my advice might not be best -lol

I just my iPhone on its side and stand back about 6 feet, no problems.
