It really likes bubble algae, pink cotton candy algae and some sort of red wiry hair algae. It also like nori, Ocean Nutrition pellets, mysis, mussel and clam meat... basically anything I throw in there. I've even seen it eat new bryopsis growth.

Unfortunately it will also pick at open brains a bit so I have to keep them in another tank. It also doesnt get along with my snowflake eel very well. It freaks out a bit every time it comes out to feed. But they've been living together for several years so I guess they're not too bad.

I don't have one, but all the research I did says no smaller than 75-80 gallons.

Keep in mind that if you get a small one that lives, within 3-4 months you will need a minimum of a 90g tank for them to live happily in.

As you can clearly see we have answered your question, the minimum tank size for a scopas would be a 90g, your 34g will not work as a proper house for a tang. You yourself said that you didn't want to risk a life but yet you are asking again about tangs when you've already got the answer. Just because you might not like the answer doesn't mean it's going to change when you keep asking the same question.

Maybe because someone else did it you hope we'll say it's ok and that's why you keep asking, however just because someone else did it doesn't mean it's right. Most of us on here care about our fish and we want what is best for them, and for keeping a tang you really need a minimum of a 90g tank, and honestly with tangs as they get bigger a 180g or larger tank is better for them to live in.

Anyway this thread is for pictures of tangs if you'd like to start a tang discussion you could start a new thread in the Marine fish section. So for now
