Just remiding myself of the thread after the break away

Nitrates - yes i remember now, bit too much clam food at the beginning.

Ok change of plan, we must get those nitrates down so stop the clam food and consentrate on your parameters.

Dose the Bak and the Min-S as directed and I will follow up tomorrow with you

Hi

It is normal that the No3 test did not showed the corract paramter
mostly they will be disturb by elements in the tank.

Do not stop the dosing reduce it a little bit and add some Ultrabio
in your tank

If you make to big changes it is never good start slowly and stop slowly

This is just claudes slight miss understanding.

Carry on as you are.

I have also learnt that if you are adding Min-S to the tank you dont have to add it to the Clam food, just mix the clam food with RO.

Why do I suggest this?

Well we have been doing some test with a very big clam importer in the states and have shown that if you are already adding Min-S to the system in drip form you dont need to add it again to the food.

So you have two choices, add the Min-S to the clam food but not again to the tank or add seperate.

once you have your nitrates down i suggest carrying on seperately.

Post on Sunday your NO3 level and PO4 level and then we go from there.

I will send you some ultra Bio also as directed by Claude

Man you are gonna have a tank that pops once all dosings have been settled!

Claude please review the whole thread and suggest a correct dosing regime, this Clam review has progressed into a full non Lith low nutrient dosing review.
