Agreed, mine is closer to the second photo you posted although sometimes it has a tendancy to be a bit brownish depending on the weather or if I'm looking at it from the left

What does the "bubble gum" acro look like? Could you post a picture of it from Jamie's TOTM article?

Really hard to see the purple with pictures but mine has quite a vibrant purple.

That's what I was thinking just by looking at the pictures. If it is indeed Austera, it shouldn't be too tough to color up - although I've found Austera to be CRAZY awesome in medium nutrient tanks (rather than low nutrient or ULNS).

You still have this piece Greg? Maybe I'll order one from you and try my hand...I have medium light (at best) and medium nutrients.
