They sync with your expensive Vortechs to simulate awesome thunderstorms with no sound.

Where does the sound come from? Your fish get scarred, break colonies of corals, knock over rocks that scratch your tank, cause havoc on your DSB. To top it off, your fish jump out in a suicide attempt and your tank crashes while leaking all over your expensive hardwood floor.

Problem solved.

1) Download some thunder storm sounds to play durring the thunder storm.
2) Get one of these for added effect. Also doubles as an ATO

I saw a DIY one somewhere that a guy had rigged up. It was a PVC manifold that he hooked up to his return pump. Kinda a cool idea, but in your livingroom I would think it would be annoying. If you could get something on a timer for ATO It would be neat.

The same guys also had his MH lights on a track that moved over his tank to simulate a sunrise/sunset.

Haha I can see it now...

Wife wakes up in the middle of the night - "honey wake up! I think the fish tank is leaking"
You - "No it's OK, it's just the rainfall simulation"
Wife - "What?!?"
You - "I rigged up the top off to simulate raindrops during a storm"
Wife - "Why?"
You - "I don't know seemed like a good idea at the time..."
Wife - "You're an idiot"

Chuck Norris and a Radion can’t occupy the same space as the awesomeness would tear the universe apart.
