I had mine spawn once. Kept finding little colonies all over the place. They all eventually got out stung though... Oh, alk swings help take them out too

They are one of the few broadcast spawners that can spawn asexually. Need feature, bad for Brad's tank :P

you know that problem where it's often difficult to mount any frags on the lower few inches of rock? I kinda got that covered now

Brad, where can i send a donation to help you in your plight... maybe for a new chisel? Nobody should have to deal with this. It just isn't right...

At least with aptaisia once you nuke it, it's gone, these pocci's you can't kill. .

I seem to have the same pink pocci's whatcaneyedo linked. I've let a few of them grow, is it normal for them to only be "healthy" at the top? it seems that as they grow the base is dieing, it bleaches then turns to rock, meanwhile the rest of the colony continues to grow. I was worried about bugs for awhile, but none of my other SPS is showing anything bad, only these pocci's.
I got mine from Reefer Rob in Langley and I've sold frags from it to a lot of people since then. So you may very well have the exact same one as I do.

Only the top inch or so of mine is alive as well. Everything below that turned white and then died.

thats pretty bad.. acting like this isn't a problem at all,

I had to shut down the tank because they were getting so bad, and I am scared to put water in the new on as one of thoes buggers might hitch hike in on some live rock.. or some other hobbiest will neglect to tell me he has a poclipora problem and next thing you know I have to take everything down and start all over again......
