Just got the Big Chiller aka A/C installed last week. The tank sits at a nice 78 degrees Before that 82 was the norm.

Wow, it says that the temp could hit 34C as a high in Vancouver today.

I should have left my lights off.

Hope my tank doesn't hit >34C. Generally, my tank is 1 or 2 degrees Celsius hotter than the room temp.

My tank is getting up there too. Its fan city in my place now.

What is the max temp that would be safe for the inhabitants.

Also what is a safe temperature swing?

My tank has been hitting 86 , especially when it's like 29 degrees around here.. it's higher. Thank goodness I have a fan in my room, and I keep the window open. That's my big fancy chillier.

The mag 18 I was sunning my skimmer with crapped out last night, so my tank should actually run cooler today!

I would like to reiterate my question.

Whats the maximum safest temperature I could allow before I have to start panicking?

With all these fans going, and playing around with them, there is temperature swings from 83-77. Are most things going to adjust to that kind of swing?
