Whoo Hooo! My CBB is eating Mysis!
I bought it sometime ago from a fellow Canreefer who informed me that it would only eat clams, mussels and oysters. So I was faithfully putting one small clam or mussel in the tank every day. I even rigged up a little feeding station for it: A small plastic box with a snap lid that I drilled small holes in; just large enough for his long nose to fit in, but too small for the Tuskfish, Lunare Wrasse, Hawkfish, et al. This way I was sure he was getting enough to eat without the other piggies getting most of it. Last week I noticed the CBB eating Mysis and then spitting them back out. This was some progress because he ignored all foods other than shellfish. Now he is eating the Mysis with great gusto, as well as Spirulina-enriched Brine Shrimp. I'm not quite sure why he changed his diet, but I'm glad he did; I wasn't looking forward to digging clams in the middle of January.

Well, against my better judgement I brought home a Blue Chin Trigger. My wife has been wanting a trigger for some time and seeing as she puts up with a lot of my bull**** (like spraying her with return line gunk), I finally relented. Hopefully I got lucky and he's a mild-mannered guy. He certainly is handsome, I'll give him that. He's about 7 inches long and currently living in the QT.

"Sigh"..... She's named him already.....
His favourite food is shrimp and his lower lip sticks out so we have to be call him "Bubba Gump"
Why do women feel the need to name every fish?
