not to sure on all the detail. my insurance company delt with the cause it was their mistake.
it was my first salt tank and almost my last. 12k in damage.

Crazy, but it's hard to knock the company and their warranty if you don't have all the details. When insurance companies get involved so do lawyers, if the conditions were met you would have gotten the warranty, no doubt about it, it's even on their website. I suspect something was off. Of course the damages aren't covered, they never would be.

Wasn't this before Concept was around Ed?

I do know that the bottom of Ed's tank was actually 2 seperate 1/4" panes of glass laminated together and not straight 1/2" as it should have been. Who ever did build that 230G tank should have known better.

yes was not built buy them. was ai old tank builder.

So it was BVA in Calgary then that built it? That's Aquarium Illusions old supplier.

I wasn't around when all this happened with Ed's tank but I have heard about it. Problems with BVA, and this was just one of many, were the reason they decided to start Concept.
