![]() Stop with the Viagra supplements already Cindy
![]() I know you're gonna get tons of people pming you about buying your babies, but just to let everyone else know: The odds of successfully raising SH babies is, unfortunately, quite low & it'll take several months of extreme TLC to get to juvenile, then to adult size. Hopefully you won't get too inundated with excited reefers who all want local captive-bred Seahorses. It'll be a full time job for you to just get them through the critical first month. Good luck Cindy. For people serious about wanting seahorses, please be aware that they are high maintenance fish & not suitable for community tanks. Ideally, set up your species tank several months ahead of time to let the system stabilize & to build up the pod & live mysis population, because as it has already been posted several times in the past, even the ride from the LFS to your house can stress these ponies out & cause them to stop eating frzn mysis. If they are eating frzn, they need to be fed several times a day, very small meals to prevent polluting your tank. Don't mean to rain on everyone's parade, but I know the attraction of seahorses & the sudden desire one gets when you see those cute baby pics. Anthony PS. I may soon lose my Canreef name to my friend. ![]() |
