What to do in Calgary?

I'm moving to Calgary in September, and seeing as how there are a lot of people from Calgary on Canreef I thought this might be the best place to ask.

Recommended attractions?
Recommended restaurants?
Recommended areas of town to buy a house?

Looking forward to eventually meeting some people on the board once I start another tank in the new house. I'm renting for 6 months to start. Then I'll be asking about LFS's
