nice tank troy Now it time to filled up $$$$$$$$

I just want to make you an advice I dont realy know the canreer skimer but as most becket they sometime overflow so maybe put your colection bucket in the sumps that way if he overflow he will in the sumps not on your floor!! :D

In my case I alway run the water level in my skimmer very hight the skimmer tend to stay much cleaner and more efficient see the photo below I run my water level just at the level of the botom of the collection cup

Tigger, thanks. I actually have 4 110W actinic VHO running right now.

Stephane, thank you too. The skimmer has an overflow that runs to a small buckett. I don't have room for this anywhere else as I have a sump that pretty much fills the entire cabinet.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah so put the small buckett in you supms (higher than the water level)if the small bucket overflow he will do it in the sumps ;) saving your floor

if he overflow it will putt the waste in the tank but dont worry the skimmer will put it out azap when fix

I dump a coupe of time my entire bucket of junk in the tank and only see more coral extent they seem to fest on that junk and after have fix the
skimmer it pulled off that junk in no time

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Tigger? I don't see Tigger here. I see a Victor.. No Tigger tho. ;) :D You know Victor don't ya Troy? Getting old are we? Alzheimers? :D If you don't know him.. Troy, may I introduce Victor. Victor, meet Troy. :D :D :D

Stephane,

Simple solution for a collecting the skimmer junk. An auto-shut off waste collector. Easy to make. Saves a LOT of mess. No need to hide it in the sump either. ;)

Looks very nice Troy, beautiful work on the stand and canopy!

Cool to see it up and running.. I can sense a reef meeting in your future.. (when everything has settled in of course!) :D
