Ummm, I was pretty sure basenji have a voice box... they just dont bark. They do whine, cough, growl etc?

Great dogs, I want one.

If this test was accurate it would be very revealing

and yes, basenjis do make noises(not all of them pleasant) they just don't bark

I am a Curly Coated Retriever also known as a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

i was under the impression they didn’t, sorry if im wrong. we used to have one that would come out to our lure coursing events. nice dog, strange owner
