![]() If I go with the centre, I would build the overflow box with angled sides, I think that would make it blend more. However, my plan is to have an open middle tank and this would cut 6" out of the centre area. Maybe 1 or 2 corners will be better. I think for my needs, one on the left corner will do it.

![]() I had a V shaped center overflow in my 180. It was ok, but I still prefer the corners better.
But thats wall built, where I dont view in the ends. I just made a smaller sized rock wall around it. Why not do something like a homemade rock plaster on the overflow, then one could still leave the center open. I also thought the center V would be better on my current 5ft. tank, with two halides, but on a 4ft. guess it does not matter as much.
