I am no expert by any means but i had the same problem about a month ago...for me it was low alk and mag to start with, then i discovered my skimmer pump had a snail stuck in it and wasnt pumping much water all. fixed all that and they stopped stning after a day or 2, i also cut back on feeding the fish a tiny bit.. So i beleive i had too high nutrients, not enough oxygen and too low alk and mag

I did end up fragging up the pieces it was too late for and they are thriving now...

I wouldn't fret about O2 if your skimmer is producing micro bubbles under the foam head |

So Warren hows everything looking now? Still having issues or back to normal?

Everything appears to be back to normal. Ended up tossing the piece as it was too late to save. Going to monitor for one more week then begin mounting the frags.
