I think all Christmas cards should be animated by Terry Gilliam.

Yep. She blew out her right knee playing in the backyard. Surgery would have been over $4000 to fix her right but she was terribly allergic to the pain meds the vet put her on. We had no choice but to put her down.

I think the Newfie movement to take over the world started with Alberta as a test run

I bought a late present for the wife over the web.
On Monday, it left Irving, TX, went through Memphis, TN and arrived in Richmond, B.C., on the 21st @ 2:01am.
So, I thought it would be here Wednesday or Thursday, depending on depot transfers.
When I next tracked it, it was on it's way to .... wait for it ...
Paris, France

After contacting FedUp to ask what the ... "What are you going to do for me if this package doesn't get here by the weekend? Will you change it to Saturday delivery for me?"
"Sir, I am putting in a special request for you right now and we will do everything in our power to get it to you for X-mas".

Well, what can you do. I sent my tracking info off to a few friends so they could have a good laugh and figured X-mas may not have a 'happy ending'.

Wouldn't you know it, the doorbell goes off this morning and it's the Fed.
Holee motherfather.
I checked the tracking info ...
After it left Paris, it went back to Memphis ( don't have a clue why ), then back to the Vancouver sort facility, Richmond next, then the Burnaby depot and to my door my 11am. It was still in Paris last night.

I gotta say, when they screw up, they do it well.
And when they fix it, they do it really well.
