Garam masala at most stores in the ethnic section. Tandoori masala is harder to find around here so we make our own. I'll get her to send it on FB...

Guys, Thanks! I'm sure you all can do much better... You're just being nice to me. Don't know if I can really pass any good camera tips but I may be able to talk to a good friend of mine to give us all a demo. He is a professional photographer and he also freelances with the local papers in town. Some of his acheivements includes a nice UFC photo spread in the Sports Illustrated and he was also hired as one of the photo managers during the winter Olympics in Vancouver. I don't think I can post his name on the forum, right? But I'll talk to him later this week and see if he can teach us a few lessons.

Rich, I am really thinking about getting a Canon Mark III body. I was at a local camera shop playing with one... problem: how can I justify spending $4 grand on a camera ( and that is just body alone!). I am currently using a Canon 60D and Lens and Shutter is currently selling the body for $899. I'd recommend you try both Canon and Nikon, they both have lots of different lens options and the resale value are very good.

He he he this thread is quickly turning into a recipe sharing thread....lol
Any who, yes i did bring the salsa- glad you all liked it.
its super easy...

Mango Salsa
2 mangos, peeled, cut up
8ish roma tomatoes (depending on how much salsa you are making, big batch more tomatoes, small batch less-you don't want the tomatoes to over power the 2 large mangos)
1 large red onion chopped up
1 jalapeno (seeds in or out-you decide how hot, the batch i brought, i put half the seed in)
BIG handful of cilantro, chopped
lime juice of one lime (lean into it and roll it on the counter to loosen juices)
Pinch of salt

chips, scoop, Yummmm!

PS. its super yummy on BBQ'd salmon, there's something about the smoke from the grill and the sweetness of the mango that works so well together.

And Christy what about your yummy spinach and crab dip????

well lets face it, if theres one thing we do right its stand around a fish tank stuffing our faces as we admire it. We only stop eating long enough to stake a claim to frags we want with a loud "MINE" (and its a talented person that can do that with a mouthful of food while not showering the glass with it ).

No crab in that dip, its on the back of the knorr vegetable soup package

2c sour cream
1c mayo
1pkg knorr vegetable soup (NOT the cream one)
1pkg frozen chopped spinach
optional 1c chopped waterchestnuts
optional 3 green onions chopped
