don't worry to much about breaking them they don't release spores acording to some of the big wigs on RC. I just popped all the big ones in my tank and the emerald crabs took care of the rest.

yup, bubble algae, or velonia.I just wait till there a little bigger and pic them off by hand. i popped one last week to see what it was. it looked like it was just full of water?

Usually a few bubbles are not a problem. When they start to multiply on a piece of rock with zoos, and push them out of the way, I have a definite problem.

I get the kids to pick them off =) they have nifty little fingers - I hope I dont need to get more of these little workers as the ones I have age!
