Hey Bob,


I got the cowries...and also Tiger cowries...bali blue leg hermits...assorted urchins... and also some turbos...drop by sunday...and sorry for the late reply....but I we had a heck of a busy day!!!

There were no ceriths there at Big Als, Bob.

Gold had some trochus tho.

Thanks Deb. I am particularly in need of snails that work the sandbed. I know Cerith snails are great for that, but having never had Trochus snails, I don't know if they would suit.

Thanks Deb. I am particularly in need of snails that work the sandbed. I know Cerith snails are great for that, but having never had Trochus snails, I don't know if they would suit.
Hmmm, my Cerith snail work the glass, and my blue legged hermits are working the sand... Doesn't matter I guess, as long as someone is doing something!

The trochus are like astreas so no sand work there. Get a sand sifting star Bob... I really like mine.

Perfect, I did get one of those. He buried himself promptly, and has never been seen again. I am assuming he is under the sand doing his job.

Bob, if you want a cleaner sandbed, get a conch and/or tiger tail cuke :P

they rock for keeping sand white. They even ate the cyano in my tank (not that I had much, only a patch the size of a quarter..)

My ceriths move the sand around a bit, but dont seem to clean it well.
