In regards to ATO, I also understand the rise in ppm on the initial run off.

It will be programmed to drain off a set amount before diverting to the tank. ProfiLux has the power to do this with programmable logic control and a few solenoids.

RO outlet goes to a T piece, there is a solenoid on both tee ends, one for waste pre tank fill run off and one for ATO. The run off solenoid will be programmed to come on for a few minutes prior to the tank flow solenoid coming on.

Mike, where are you getting your Reef Safe Solenoid valves from? I've been searching for a cost viable source for a long time.

the solenoids are available readily if you want to order from china, they are about $4.00 and then add shipping, so make your own.

Personally I dont think $34 is over expensive either for something pre made plug and play. You can get rid of your storage tank if you have a profiLux for under $80!

http://www.autotopoff.com/solenoid/

When you work out the cost of a storage tank - feed pump - pipework, i doubt the cost comes to much less, also take into account the fact you do not have the space issues and also only having to run 1/4" pipe. For me this method is a no brainer

Thx Mike, I was just looking at Alibaba, and I do not want them pre made. I have my own PLC controllers and need about 10 valves for what I want to do. ATO,W/C and membrane flush, all automatic.

In this case it would be cheaper to buy a baby ProfiLux its all done for you.

This build by nature will highlight many things that are unique to profiLux so some things may not be adaptive to your own situation, but importantly will highlight what can be achieved. This is also why the build is in our forum and not in the open forum.

Anyway follow the thread you should get some good ideas from it (I hope)
