![]() Lol the seller is trying to make a sale IMO.
Other brands that have been mentioned already in this thread will all work MUCH better than that. The Coralife super skimmer will be very far from plug and play and not perform as well as other skimmers for the same price. Cheers, Chris

![]() I'd say the Coralife skimmer is okay if you can get one cheap. I bought a used one (essentially free as it was a package deal with a light fixture) and it isn't bad. It does skim a nasty dark green stuff out of my water. It runs well as long as you have a constant water level and clean it every 3 to 6 months. But I wouldn't buy one brand new. As others said you can get better skimmers in the same price range.

![]() They are really popular because a lot of New people buy them (the LFS's that don't just do SW seem to Love them!) and I admit to owning one too....and I got rid of it as soon as I could afford to upgrade. We had a remora pro for a while on the 65g... it was *ok* but not fabulous, and we're running a vertex 180 on our 120g reef, I really like it.
