![]() Those stainless steel clamps usually have non-stainless screws for some reason. I bought a bunch thinking I was smart untill all the screws started to rust.

![]() oops i forgot to mention you have to ask for the ones with SS screws.. i have made that mistake before as well.
The reason they use the carbon steel screws is SS screws dont last very long and they strip easily. |

![]() Stainless is called 'stain LESS' because it stains(rusts) less than regular steel. Stainless will still rust, especially the grade used on hose clamps. I second the motion for zip ties or plastic hose clamps.

![]() underwater I only use zip ties and they hold tight . Dont use the metal hose clamps at all .
