I really wanted a wood fireplace, but I would of had to build an entire new chimney, not to mention the extra work associated with it and cost of wood out here. I actually knocked my chminey down in the summer as it was on the other side of the house, in the fishroom. Just a poor basement layout back in 1973.

Yup - the ole' TOTM thread is still pretty up-to-date. I do however maintain my Mg above 1300 at all times now. Growth has really picked-up and my pH is now normal. Chair usually faces the tank - the tank is directly opposite (and centered) on the opposite wall.

How about some tank specs? And more photos?!
Thanks Paul. Hope the frags are doing well. Will be giving you a call soon. And I will be needing to see your tank soon!

There she is Parked for the winter - man I can't wait for spring! Gotta get a pic for you with the 20" wheels on it! I actually like the 05+ better than the 2010 models - glad I got this 08'. Want to get the FRPP hotrod cams as this years performance mod. Sounds wicked with pretty good performance! Youtube FRPP hotrod cams and listen to a sound clip! Awesome.

Hey Tony. As a result of doing the basement I have been spending a good amount of time downstairs. Pretty pleased with the tank. My DKH is finally back where it should be. Did a 30G water change and left the Ca reactor off for 48 hours of the course of 1 week. My reds are starting to get red again, rather than a red faded to pink...all becuase of changing media and running the reactor a litle to fast. Mg was 1350 yesterday. Changed all my bulbs in December...............January amex bill is, ouch!

The green torch requires some growth before getting fragged again. Hopefully I will be able to make it available a couple more times this year. One of the nicest LPS I have ever seen. And excellent use of the the word wicked - gotta offer some type of discount for that

Thanks - more times than not you get what you pay for, whether it be equipment or live goods.

When the time comes just email me and let me know. The colony is pretty larger and I can often times get a frag (my wife's favorite piece though........I catch a little when I frag this one). Reminder I should feed this coral more often.
