Dude those milles look like a shag carpet. Super PE. Very impressive.

The Milli's do have some extremely long PE, some polyps are extending up to an inch or more. the polyp extension has increased since using the zeovit sponge power suppliment. I have a couple frags of that milli if anyone is interested.

Gorgeous tank! I can only hope down the line mine will be even half as nice. Can you tell us more about it? What equipment, lighting, ballasts you're running and such?

My equipment list is as follows;

48" X 24" x 30" Seastar tank.
30 Gal sump (small)
Teco 1/4 chiller
Euroreef 8-3 skimmer (mesh mod)
Zeovit Reactor

2 x 250 Watt Lumenmax reflector 14K Pheonix bulbs w/blue wave duel HQI
ballast.
1 x 54w T5 Giessman Super actinic bulb
1 x 54W T5 KZ Fiji Purple bulb.

2 x tunze 6100 stream pumps
1 x Tunze Wavebox
1 x Maxijet 1200 modified (crazy flow!)
1 x Mag 7 return pump / drilled sump return 1 X corner overflow
Total flow is approximately 40,600 LPH = 62X turnover

Tunze Osmolator ATO

Reefkeeper 2 controller

OA Calcium reactor PH controlled by ReefKeeper 2.

ATO top-off resovior located in furnace room through wall behind tank, auto filled via float via 5 stage RO/DI unit in garage.


Specific Gravity 1.026
Temp 79.5-80.1 (very precise) Reefkeeper controlled
Ca. 450
MG 1350-1400
DKH 7
K+ 400Mg

5% water change once per week.
