Check out www.fingerlakesreef.com for lots of info on Huge tank builds, they use plywood backing and bracing/framing, put in glass on the sides and front, then coat the inside with ocean-proof Epoxy. pretty cool.

i was thinking about doing the plywood epoxy thing, would definitely save a Boatload of money...actually I think thats what i'm going to do. you can make the overflows, and all the holes in the plywood, no need to drill any glass.
