![]() I don't think it actually scratches more easily but the higher clarity makes scratches more obvious.

![]() the starfire is more softier then regular glass ,due to the Iron that has been left out in the starfire. That is what makes it so much clearer to see through. The scratches being more visible has nothing to do with it... iron in the glass allows the glass to have a special hardness to it .

![]() That has been floating around for a long while, but I've seen the manufactuere (PPG) quoted elsewhere as saying "Starphire glass has the same surface hardness as float glass". Has there been any objective testing? This is purely idle interest on my part, neither having nor planning any starphire tanks.
