The larger the volume of water you have in your system, the more stable it is. At least that's what we always say. I think the same concept is at the root of this type of proposal. Whether or not it would pay off in the long run is beyond my level of comprehension, though

No. Even with the Canadian dollar at what it is worth today ,the U.S. dollar is still way over valued. When you have a Republican saying he is worried about the TRILLIONS of dollars his country owes that even aren't in the books,there is cause for major concern. The U.S dollar is hanging by a thread and could collapse if it doesn't get the support of it's friends . America was doomed the second it went off the Gold Standard. They gave there country away to the bankers. Not sure where you would find an economist or capitalist that would agree with a many of these statments.
