Compare to the ocean even one fish is way too much for our tanks.

Just so people know (thankfully) we do not have a huge waste load evident when we do water changes. There is no bad algae and very little cyano. I know that the sand sifting sleeper goby helps to keep the sand clean, about 160 pounds of live rock helps to filter and we use RO water which also helps. Plus we are running EV-180 skimmer which is rated for up to a 200g tank, so it removes most of the watse. We also do bi-weekly water changes. So far all our fish and coarls look great. I guess I'm like most reefers who usually just want a bigger tank.
