Very nice, very very nice, you are obviously doing a lot of things right for that kind of growth, I was excited about 1/4 inch of growth in 4-6 weeks but wow look at you go.

Looks great Marie! I can't believe the growth you're getting, must be something in the water up there That stag is really taking off, is it going to hit the water surface soon?

The stag is at least an inch away from reaching the surface. It's the green monti that will break through first, it's less then half an inch away

Marie the corals look great but that couch looks like it's suffering a bit, probably STN, maybe adding a little more flow will bring it back around.

I think it would take a tsunami to fix that thing

Marie,

I'm starting to think that you should post a TOTM type thread, so you can give all of us the downlow on what your doing to acheive such great growth!

I am so jealous!

I have no idea what i'm doing .
I have a shallow sand bed that i never vacuum because it's full of life, I have lots of different pest algaes growing in the main tank that I try to ignore, I have a crappy skimmer that i'm lucky if it gives me a cup of skimmate a week (it's very thick and chunky though), my alk and calcium are constantly dropping because I can't keep up with the demand, I feed a rather large amount of food to the fish every day trying to keep the angel from eating the corals, I have an angel that regularily prunes all the acros...in short everything that is not a good thing for an sps tank lol

That's how nature does it in the wild reefs.
