![]() My condo is hydro heated so I'm ok there. When my light burnt out a while back I only had sunlight on the tank for a week. Everthing is still alive so I'm ok there. I think my sump can handle the excess water volume so I could be ok there. I have long serving spoons and a wife who's always at home to stir the water, so I'm ok there.

![]() I live out in the boonies here in NE BC and my power goes out at least once a year and usually for a few hours to a few days so I have a generator that I also use for my holiday trailer in the summer. Works great and I can power just about everything except the lights which is not that big of a deal for a couple of days. Like Christy I have a wood stove so can maintain room temp. but can also plug the heaters in to the generator. Honda makes an extremely quiet generator that is also electric start which is way more fun than pulling on the stupid cord over and over.
