You need to set this to your preference (one of the options should be "from the beginning." You can also go into your control panel and set up the default for all forums (go to "User CP" and then "Edit Options"). Sorry for the thread hijack, BTW. Just thought I'd mention this because it seems it's tripping a lot of people. It took me a day to figure that one out myself.
