Ya . I want simple and solid. I like the geo , mrc , lifereef style of reactors. .
I have never looked into these before . Turns out they aint cheap lol.
May have to browse the used world ..

Ya, your budget is a bit low for a nice setup. Used is hard to find though. Although a used tank/reg should be fairly easy to find. Reactor is a bit harder to find.

Add MTC to that list. The ProCal is the best reactor out there, designed so well it can not even be copied with success! Again, not cheap, but with a reactor you want it to work consistently, otherwise you may as well dose.

doesnt look that hard to copy, nothing realy diffferent from the reactors we used to build 10 years ago.. knew I should have got a pattent LOL

the only thing that has changed in reactors over the last say 15 years is size, types of pumps and cosmetics. I still prefer upflow as aposed to down flow, and I like two chamber reactors.

the MTC does look well built though and you can find them used on e-bay for about 300.

i used the lowest bubble magus model on my 90. It was good and didn't break the bank.
