![]() I just installed windows 8 on the HTPC I'm building.. can't say I like it yet but once things are up and running I'll never see it.

![]() So far from my experience I'm quite liking windows 8, one you have classic shell it's like having windows 7 but with more features
Likes: comparing my windows 7 desktop running 8g of ram, i5 processor (3.0ghz quad core) with ss hard drive to my laptop running the same everything (except 2.7ghz quad core i5 and no solid state drive) the windows 8 machine seems quite a bit faster Tons of features Works just like windows 7 Works flawlessly on my tablet using splashtop Dislikes: The whole swipe to open random tool bars

That was how you pulled up the charms bar, but the regedit simply just disables it from running but that function is still there. |
