Michael,

Where should the check valves be placed - before the pump or after the pump? Intuitively it makes sense to put it as close to the solution vessel as possible (before the pump) to minimize as much back flow as possible. But I don't know if that would some how impact the dosing pump in a negative way (typically throttling back the intake of any pump is bad news) as there is nothing indicated in the instruction manual about check valves.

Makes no difference before or after, but personally I would put after

so are check valves required on the doser? or was this specific to canadians set-up?
