I wish more stores did this, but shipment times are probably not usually ideal for sale times. I'd much rather take a fish home straight from the shipping bag then have it be in the stores water for a couple of hours.

Don't forget to inform your customers of the pH/ammonia issue when they are acclimating fish that have been in bags for a long time! That could take the fun right out of it!

I should have mentioned acidosis (CO2) - probably the biggest concern. The ammonia and pH problems really just being a result of the acidosis.

Well how'd it go today? I really wanted to come down at least to check it out but work sent me away. I would have liked to get a Ctenochaetus strigosus but I'm not ready to deal with a new fish until after Oct 20
