Well I added a 2 bulb T5 fixture to supplement the MH. I just haven't liked the color with just the MH's. Too white even abit yellowish. I find the coral colors somewhat dull.
T5's have added some much needed blue...perhaps abit too much and I will play with the bulb choices later. But...I am much happier with the colors. The coral colors appear much brighter and the greens, even oranges are much brighter. Ofcourse I have a hard time trying to capture the true colors with my camera settings but this does basically show the difference.
(Thanks Kev for getting me a fixture so quickly!)

Just realized my GSP rock fell down in the back when I looked at the pics...damn...guess I gotta go get wet to fix it...

Here's a couple before and after pics:
before

after

before closer

after closer

Looks good Carmen. It`s tough with the curved glass finding a light that you`re happy with as nothing fits quite right. All my SPS are a bit in the shade in the front where you see them the most, thus not as nice of colours. Speaking of which, when you getting those SPS....

Thanks Scott. I will try a couple sps...soon...
Having abit of a cyano issue and still wanting to add another K4 for more flow so perhaps after that I'll throw in an easy sps or something and see how it goes!
I modded 2 of my Koralia 3's to increase the output some. I think it helped but am still needing more.
I definately have alot of space on top to fill, don't I?

Carmen,

I have an extra Koralia powerhead, I think it is a 5. It is rather big though.

Girly for the Girly!

Ya sort of a feminine kick to the reef tank experience!

(How big are the K5's? Maybe that would be perfect? I'll look into them ok)

Looks great Carmen, like the aquascaping. Do you want to come do mine in the new tank when it is ready, lol. It's only 18" deep & 22" wide so you should be able to reach all of it without a ladder, lol. Oh ya I did tell you it was 8' long.

Well that sorta sounds fun! I would barely even have to get wet! Not like this one! 8' would be so neat to aquascape....so much room!!

Ya it will be cool, have to figure out how i am going to do it. Need to figure out if I am going to use pcv pipe or acyrlic rod's to keep the rock where I want it. How did you do your's? Is it just stacked?

I see you have a flame angel, am I right. I would like to have one, is there any thing I should know about them? Are they reef safe and compatable with the fish i already have?
