Watch out for that Eunicid worm - I had one about 3 tanks ago roughly a foot long - ugly sobs - my snail population slowly dwindled away- one
night i found it downstairs making a sandwich - i was releived he was out of the tank and I finally got him. LOL Seriously - if you can find the rock where he lives- remove it - save yourself a whole bunch of time - that's what I did - they give me the Hebee Jeebees these worms. I didn't even put the rock back in in case there was a gang 😄 If you only get half of him it will regenerate into a Super Alien Eunice - Get all of him |

ya, I definitely want to get him out, I just don't know how yet.. I do know the rock he lives on and it is easy enough to take out since it doesn't lean against any other rocks. It happens to be one of my smaller terraces. Unfortunately it also has a crap load of corals on it.. Anyway, I might try to tackle it this weekend when I have some time. I'll also need to source a new shelf piece to replace the removed one.

Take the rock out and pour some club soda or any carbonated water into his hole. He'll come scurrying out

Yes. This was my plan 'A'. I was contemplating either sealing him into his hole or possibly epoxying his body to the rock. I can see sections of him weaving through the rock so I was going to epoxy all of his exposed body parts! But now I'm afraid he will regenerate 10 new worms! Plan 'B' is to remove the rock. I was going to throw out the rock but a carbonated bath sounds like fun.

It's OK Greg, I've been working out! Actually I just started today.. right after I saw the MadJelly video. I figured if Long can curl 5 pounds, well, so should I! Be sure to check out my other "build thread" (see what I did there?) for my progress. |
