I was welcomed by the wet side today morning when I noticed the carpet was a bit wet on the side of the tank. The airline tube from the ATO got loose from the duck tape and released water on the floor!!!!!!!! My mistake that I used ducktape instead of airline holder. Have turned off the ATO for now till I get a holder. Atleast not much damage has been done. Any idea how to dry the carpet? I used iron to heat up the spots (used to do that before too) and let time dry it up.

Got myself a new toy

And resulted in this:

Too much flow and the sands started blowing around (although being 1.0-2.0mm grains). Had to turn it to L mode and can't use the fancies because of the sand storm. And fishes seem to struggle too. But I am very impressed with build quality. The magnet is freaking strong too! So much for the brand-lovers......

Will try to find a variable DC unit to control the speed. That should solve the problem

You should check out the huge thread on Reef Central. They are making all sorts of advances on how to make adjustable power. Looks like they have a good working idea using some sort of rheostat.

Almost 100 pages for you to read through lol -

Default Tunze

I added a couple of those tunze pumps to supplement my mp40's and am very impressed. I almost like them better than the correct pumps because they're far more quiet. I'm considering replacing all my vortex pumps with the tunze pumps.
