And tony I am going to take your advise and in time will do a super hybrid retro fit on it.

Lmao haters going to hate! Everyone reefs differently and there is no right or wrong as long as you can achieve the end result of keeping healthy colorful corals! :-)

Good choice! I love T5s. The light is so uniform and silky smooth and the colour temp is adjustable :-) Plus T5s are by far the easiest to photograph.

Thanks. I really enjoyed building this from the ground up. I would believe that the tiles also add some biological as well as the tile is porus. But the big thing for me was I wanted the cleanliness of bare bottom and the look of sand so to speak
