Thanks Marie, well listening to the skimmer its very quiet like you have stated to me earlier. once its broken in I will give my feed back on it so far its going to get great results from me.

how long does it take to break in anyways, I was going to soak it in Vineger. but i couldnt wati to get it in the tank.

actually i have another vid but its 225 megs and photo bucket wont let me upload it. that is the one that i wanted to use , that video is of my 120 gal mostly.

I soaked mine in vinegar before using and the skimmer started skimming within minutes after being placed in the sump. It still took a couple of weeks before it hit it's stride though and has been skimming consistently ever since with no help from me other then cleaning the collection cup twice a week

This is the skimmer 2 hours after I placed it in the sump

I see that you have a hose for your skimmer Marie I didn't get one just a plug
