The standard Skunk Cleaners are neat untill they get huge, run across your corals every time the get the whiff of food, pull your small snails from the glass to eat them, take chunks out of fish with the not so small & gentle claws......

Default hungary shrimp

Glad to hear that the blood shrimp can be good to own...thanks Deb.
Justin ...hand feed your shrimp and they will prefer it that way leaving most everything else alone......Full shrimp (wrasses, angels, crabs,sharks.....) are easier on the furniture

I have a question for anyone who can help me. Will a cleaner shrimp get along with my coral banded shrimp?
I've had my CBS for about a year now and he's molted his 5th time this weekend. His total body size is about 3 inches so he's pretty big. I rarely see him except at night after the main lights go out, and I want to add something more visual for my 54g tank.

I have 2 blood shrimp and I love them =) They are always hanging around the *tunnel* they share with the female maroon, and at feeding time they are voracious!

Get both!

I have peppermints with my cleaners, no problem. But I think CBS are more territorial, especially a lg 3" one. Unless the tank is very large with different piles of LR for marking territory & the cleaners you get are also adult size, then you might be supplying your CBS with a tasty snack

Anybody else out there with experience mixing Coral Bandeds with other spp?
