Free item - store shut down

someone suggested what im proposing is a Canreef Co-op store. i grew up in the 80's so i dont really know the concept.

is it owned and managed by Canreef members, with volunteers aswell as hired staff? so we dont buy and sell like a store, and just use the aquaruim work shop/space for our own communal use? do we crowd source for funds or get a government co-op business grant, to lease a space?

pls post replies here if anyone wants to initiate this Canreef Co-op store/space.

A coop would be cool.. maybe a coral bank where one can put your corals there when on holidays or as a spare insurance policy.. I know some woodworkers who have a space where they do their crafts sharing a common facility..... however, nowadays, space is so expensive unless some farmer guys a bunch of free space for storing. Just food or thought. Would live to set up a fish/coral room like some members here.

There is a very distinct possibility I have space for this. I'm looking into the nuts and bolts of it right now, but seriously need to get my hands on the lot to make sure the space I have in mind works. So consider me seriously interested.

correct, i have entrusted Chairman Gary to headup this co-op venture. for all those whose request for Freebies, were denied, then told me off, luckly there are second chances.

i encourage the ppl who contacted me to contribute to this cooperative effort.

I have just spoken to Xerxes (Shawn) on the phone. All items are currently spoken for. Please do not contact him. He is overwhelmed with messages and calls.

Another thread will be started in regards to the co-op idea.
